4TH TIME AROUND FOR ME MCing IML :)

It's that time again where I dust off my old vocal cords and MC the event that happens once a year called Impulse's SL International Mr Leather. The 2010 edition starts Thursday Sept. 23rd and goes all the way to Sunday Sept. 26. I will be the MC for the huge contest part on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th, both at 6pm SLT start times. On Friday after the first part of the competition I am also that night's after party DJ.

This event is huge and draws in a good number of sexy folks. If you have not been to one then you sure do not want to miss out on this event and all the parties that is attached to it. If you have been to one in the pass then you know how it goes, and you should come back :)

George Michael 'cried like a baby' when he was jailed yesterday

The 'Freedom' singer was inconsolable when he returned to a holding cell to be transferred to London's Pentonville Prison shortly after being sentenced to eight weeks in jail after pleading guilty to driving under the influence of drugs at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court.

Cellmate Richard Hayes told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I couldn't believe it was George Michael standing in front of me. When the door shut behind him, he didn't know what to do. He was in pieces.

'He kept repeating, 'I can't believe this has happened to me.' I told him to come and sit down, asked him what happened and he just put his head in his hands.

"He was crying his eyes out, he was sobbing. He was like a little boy.

"I told George to sit down. To be honest with you, he was sh**ing himself. I tried to reassure him, but he just held his head in his hands and stayed in the corner.'

Though George ' who was caught slumped at the wheel of his car after crashing into a photography shop in Hampstead, north London, on July 4 ' had admitted the offence, his lawyer revealed in court yesterday that he remembered very little about the night, including his drug intake.

His barrister Mukul Chawla QC said: "Mr. Michael has asked his lawyers to express his profound shame and horror. The shame and horror arises from the fact he recognised his actions had the effect of causing other road users to be in danger.

"That stark fact is something of which he is greatly ashamed. He spent the evening watching TV. He can't say precisely when, but he smoked cannabis. He has been a smoker of cannabis for many years."

The court heard the 47-year-old singer couldn't remember when he had lost control of his car as he travelled between his house in Highgate, north London, to his other home in nearby Hampstead but 'he thinks he was towards the end of the journey."

Though lawyers for the singer ' who has previously been arrested five times on other drug and driving charges ' asked for him to receive a non-custodial sentence, District Judge John Perkins said his background was of too much 'concern', though credited him for checking into rehab shortly after the incident.

He said: ' accept entirely you have shown remorse.

"There's no question you have supported many charities and made a difference to many people's lives for the better.

"Your record is of concern. I must have regard to the sentencing guidelines."

The singer's long-term partner Kenny Goss cried as the sentence was read out.

George - real name Georgios Panayiotou ' is expected to serve four weeks in prison.

THE AGE OF IRON IS ALMOST UPON US....AND DJ INSYX WILL BE APART OF IT :)

It is almost here, and hopefully I make it back in time for the first day of festivities. Ironworks and what was WareHouse Plaza will be back starting Sept 11th. The club name is the same but the sim is revitalized to the Age of Iron. There will be a huge opening celebration on Sept 11th and 12th. Lot's of great live music acts, stage performances and hot DJs.

I will be the closing DJ on Sunday Sept 12th @ 8pm SLT (OMG right after the SL Rock Group Queen lol)

I already set up my new CockWood DesignZ main store there and wandered around the sim. OMG it just looks amazing and worthy of spotlight on SL's homepage type of build. Yeah, I am going to have to get Marcus and the boys to finally fill out a destination guide submission. I mean I look at the "Gay Friendly" section, which is where AquA Lounge and Zeus is located, and it only has 5 entries....and these clubs are not listed in their main music places section.... OK that is another rant for another blog post LOL.

Anyways, I hope you all come out for the Age of Iron Opening Celebrations and for my set that Sunday. it is gonna be a freakin blast. Definately good to come back from vacation around then to do be apart of the event.

I AM ON VACATION THIS WEEK...HAPPY LABOR DAY TO THE USA!

OK this time there will be a lack of posting between now and sept 11th LOL. No, not because I am being lazy...it is because I am on vacation in RL til then. Hugs to all and to those of you in the United States I want to say have a safe and fun Labor Day Holiday and stuff.

I will probably be loggin in every now and then, but sicne my DJ computer and equipment is not going with me to Springfield, MA or Atlantic City, NJ then it will be kinda hard for me to spend some tunes for yall . Hugs and Miss You All Very Much!

DJ INSYX PREMIERING AT THE SKY BEACH'S ROCKET CLUB!!

Today I did my first official set at Sky Beach (official cause I have DJed there at the wedding reception for Anjey and Ferus). I was talking to one of the owners, Thorn Andel, and he asked do I want to do the beach again or up at the Rocket. I never seen this rocket before, so I went to check it out. I immediately said OMG we are so playing there LOL.

Well my new set at the Rocket is on Thursdays 1pm - 3pm SLT. The place is amazing in build and design. The people are the cool mix of awesome folks from all walks of life. Add my sexy host Louisia, Dancers Foxworhtry and Cool, and some hot sploding and it was awesome!! It looks great in midnight and the layout is just awesome. I love the huge planets and everything.
